Google Helps Battle Deforestation Using the Cloud

Atom D510 and D410 CPUs get early benchmarks

AT&T and LG Announce the LG eXpo GW620 with 1Ghz Processor

Featuring the first 1 GHz processor in the United States, AT&T and LG  announced the LG eXpo will be available online beginning December 7. The LG eXpo is the first device in North America to support an optional integrated pico projector. The LG Mobile Projector snaps onto the back of the device and allows users to share presentations, slideshows and even online videos straight from their mobile phone.

Lexar rolls out 4GB Crucial DDR3 module for RAM-hungry systems

Lexar Media has released a new Crucial-branded memory module which is set to enable RAM upgrades of up to 16GB for systems powered by Intel LGA 1156 Core i5/i7 or AMD AM3 processors. The 4GB DIMM works at 1333 MHz with CL9 latencies and operates at 1.5V, which is the standard for DDR3 memory.

LG eXpo with Detachable Pico Projector

The LG eXpo has been spotted although no official press release has been launched just yet. The eXpo is a Windows Mobile 6.5 device that has perhaps one of the most unique features of a phone… a detachable Pico Projector courtesy of Texas Instruments.

Apple’s New Map Team Job: What It Really Means


Apple has posted details on a new full-time position at its Cupertino headquarters for an iPhone Software Engineer who will join its newly created Maps team. On the job description web page, Apple says it wants to “…take Maps to the next level,” and “…rethink how users use Maps and change the way people find things.”
